The excitement was palpable when the Amazon package, bursting with Cars adventures, arrived. My daughter, sporting her Cruz Ramirez shirt and adorable Cars headband, couldn’t wait to tear into the boxes. Even before we opened them, I knew these Cars 3 toys were going to be a hit.
The Just Play Mack’s Mobile Tool Center is seriously impressive. It’s a large-scale Mack truck that really opens up to reveal a complete pit stop setup, packed with tools to get Lightning McQueen in tip-top racing shape. And yes, Lightning McQueen himself is included in the set! Pressing the top of Mack brings the race to life with fun sound effects, and the interactive diagnostic screen ensures Lightning is always race-ready. With a whopping 24 pieces and tons of hands-on activities, including a real working lift, Mack’s Mobile Tool Center is a dream come true for any Cars fanatic.

What you’ll need:

- Just Play Cars 3 Transforming McQueen Tool Kit
- Lightning McQueen Race Ready Challenge Printable
- Timer
- Pencil
First, print out the Lightning McQueen Race Ready Challenge Activity Printable.
Then, disassemble Lightning McQueen and lay out all the race-ready tools and parts on a flat surface for the challenge. The goal is to reassemble Lightning McQueen, making him race-ready with his wheels, wheel covers, spoiler, exhaust pipe, and finally, perform a diagnostic check using Mack’s tool center. Ready? Set your timer and begin!
My daughter, always up for a challenge (check out her kid blogging adventures!), was practically vibrating with anticipation before the timer even started. Eyes glued to the clock, she was off like a shot when I yelled, “Go!”.
She worked with incredible speed and focus, getting Lightning McQueen race-ready in just about four minutes on her very first attempt. Driven to improve, she kept practicing, and after several more tries, she smashed her record, completing the challenge in under three minutes!
Even after more than ten attempts to beat her personal best, the Lightning McQueen race ready challenge activity is still going strong. She’s determined to conquer every family member’s time too! We’ve discovered a fantastic family game and another awesome way to play with our new favorite Cars toys.
